Overview:

This was a small puzzle level made using a template supplied by my lecturer at university. The purpose of this level was to practice and showcase my skills in puzzle and level design as well as to develop my skills in Unreal as the first real project I have used the engine for.

What did I do?

  • I made use of the design techniques I had been researching both for the class this project was for as well as my Honours project

  • Tested and iterated the level multiple times to improve it

  • Adjusted my scope accordingly to time constraints

  • Adjusted the design of the level to cut fat and make it more streamlined

  • Provided justification for my design decisions in a design document
